Ben Moens

Biography

As EMEA Director for Industrial Decarbonisation, Ben acts as both guide and architect for companies navigating the opportunities and risks associated with decarbonisation. Combining his business and technical expertise with extensive experience, he brings a value‑centred, global and long‑term perspective to decision‑making, helping organisations remove barriers so they can act at greater scale and pace. His primary focus includes decarbonisation strategies, low‑carbon product and market strategies, decarbonisation investment and action plans, regulatory considerations, and transformation and implementation programmes.

During his 20+ years as a management consultant, he has advised leadership teams across multiple sectors on strategy and business transformation. Ben joined SLR to embed sustainability and decarbonisation into strategic planning, and to drive global transformation across all relevant dimensions, including business model change, asset transition, technology adoption, digitisation, organisational and process change, and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

Ben has worked across the materials, chemicals, paper and pulp, manufacturing, and food and beverage sectors.
